Play4Peace is recruiting!
New academic year, new challenges!
If you want to join a team that's highly motivated to make a difference and break down social and cultural barriers, read this post to the end. After nine years' experience enabling young people to play sports, organize conferences, training courses and workshops, Play4Peace is still going strong.
We've just launched the Play4Peace Academy, the first pre-incubator focused on entrepreneurship, and have plenty more plans for our 10th anniversary in 2024.
More projects means we need help.
We are therefore recruiting 2 profiles to help us with this superb growth.
Youth Coordinator: (Part-time) Be the contact person for young people within Play4Peace: Discussion about each young person's needs in terms of personal and professional development; Organize and manage Play4Peace sports activities with our partner clubs/coaches; Manage youth registrations according to sports/educational activities; Help each young person find his/her place and redirect him/her to a personal development coach if needed ; Visit the fields from time to time to keep in touch with young people; Organize informal meetings with young people who need them; Develop a survey to assess the impact of the association on young people; Develop and/or improve new tools for monitoring the various programs, etc.
Experience required
- Minimum 3 years' experience in youth supervision
- Passionate about youth development and coaching
- Interest in the sports and education sectors
- Very good knowledge of French. Dutch and English a plus
- Good command of IT tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
Intern Event Manager: (Full time) Assist the management team in developing, creating and organizing various events throughout the year; 10-year Gala, Run4Peace, sports tournaments, etc. You'll have to liaise with various stakeholders, suppliers and partners to set up each event.
Experience required
- Experience in event organization
- Passion for event organization
- Interest in the sports and education sectors
- Very good knowledge of French. Dutch and English a plus
- Good command of IT tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
